What is freeboat?
Freeboat exists to give seaworthy sailing vessels new life by passing them forward, through mentorship, and meaningful journeys that change lives and to discover a whole new way of living.
The program is intended for people that want to step into the cruising lifestyle without the daunting direction that one typically gets when asking the question "how do I get into cruising?"
Through accelerated, hands-on mentorship, participants can grow quickly in skill, confidence, and seamanship - working toward becoming captain of a boat entrusted to them as the next steward.
